My father's boss was a democrat and nobody knew
Inspired by the short story of the same name by Luís de Sttau Monteiro, this film portrays the transition from the Estado Novo dictatorship to democracy on 25 April 1974 through the eyes of Guidinha, the daughter of an employee who, throughout his life, was forced to submit to his employer's authoritarianism in order to provide for his family.
